We know a thing or two about good ice cream. We’ve actually spent nearly 20 years making traditional ice cream at our sister brand, Gundowring! (And while we’re generally not ones to brag, we’ve even won a few shiny awards). But, we know that dairy’s not for everyone, for all sorts of reasons. And we wanted to make an ice cream that was for everyone. Ice cream shouldn’t discriminate.

It took us some time, but we found oat milk was by far the creamiest non-dairy base, much creamier than the likes of say, coconut. We also happen to live in a part of the world where oats are grown, and sourcing local ingredients is everything. So that all worked out quite nicely.

And so, Hug Tub was born. Ice cream for every body. We hope you love it! And we hope it brings you joy.
